APIs target automotive sector

Designed for standardised protocols in the automotive sector, the PCAN-ISO TP, PCAN-UDS and PCAN-OBD-2 APIs have been released by PEAK-System Technik. According to the ISO-TP standard ISO 15765-2, the PCAN-ISO-TP API transmits data packets up to a size of 4095b per CAN message on Windows OSs.

The PCAN-UDS API communicates with control units according to the UDS standard ISO 14229-1, and the PCAN-OBD-2 API performs vehicle diagnostics according to the OBD-2 standard ISO 15765-4.

The PCAN-ISO TP, PCAN-UDS and PCAN-OBD-2 APIs are available free of charge and can be downloaded from the PEAK-System website.
