Embedded offerings from DSL expanded with new Panel PC's

DSL has today announced an expansion of its embedded computing products portfolio with a new range of fanless, high-performance, industrial Panel PC's, the ACS-2695 range. With Socket G2 support, the new ACS-2695 range can run 2nd Generation Intel Core i7, i5 or i3 processors with the Intel QM67 PCH chip set and two 204 Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM from 4GB single slot, up to 16GB 1066/1333MHz.
Storage on the ACS-2695 is supported by two 2.5 SATA HDDs and an external CompactFlash slot while PCIe and PCI slots provide flexible expansion. Connectivity comprises a wide range of I/O ports including four serial ports and four USB 2.0 ports along with a dual GbE LAN, DVI-I and HDMI. The compact and rugged panel PCs have a 9 - 32V DC power input with optional AC and can be Din rail mounted if required.

The fast ACS-2695 runs Windows XP Embedded, Windows Embedded Standard 7 designed specially for use in embedded systems, or Windows 7 Pro. The Windows Embedded operating systems are available to OEM system builders only for preloading with hardware and offer reduced time to market; lower hardware costs and runtime licenses; support for common industry standards; and support for next-generation media experiences, rich interactive applications and advanced user interfaces.
