App protects your digital legacy after you pass away
The password manager and secure digital vault, Keeper Security, has announced its new Emergency Access feature which will allow up to five trusted family members or friends entrance into a customer’s secure digital vault to access important files, passwords and documents in the case of an emergency or tragic event. Emergency Access can be set up to protect Keeper customers’ digital legacies in the event they become incapacitated, disabled or pass away.
The designated family member, administrator, executor or beneficiary of the customer’s will or estate can be provided secure vault access after a specified wait period.

Keeper users can add or remove anyone from their Emergency Access at any time and adjust the waiting period for access to the vault. Adding someone requires they have a Keeper password manager account. The reason for this is so the contact can gain access to the secure encryption keys without passing the data to Keeper Security or anyone else. It maintains the highest level of privacy and encryption.
