White reflective coating delivers good resistance to ageing

Dow Corning CI-2001 white reflective coating is a highly reflective optical coating that delivers good resistance to environmental aging and enhances LED light output and efficiency. It is a room-temperature-vulcaniding, solventborne, elastoplastic resin. It has a high performance target (96%) reflectance at 127μm coating thickness and 94% reflectance at 76.2μm coating thickness.

One-component formulation offers simple room-temperature cure that can be accelerated with heat for higher productivity. The coating applies easily by spraying, dipping, brushing or flowing and after cure, forms a tough, resilient coating with a nontacky surface. Reliable, long-lasting performance between -45 and 200°C (-49 and 392°F), the coating is less than 50g/l of nonexempt VOC content.

The coating is adjustable viscosity using VOC-exempt, SNAP-approved, low-odor, lowtoxicity (200ppm IHG) Dow Corning OS-20 Fluid and other silicone diluents and has good electrical properties over a wide temperature range. It is recognised under UL flammability rating UL-V0.
