SCHURTER has expanded its FMAB NEO single-phase filter portfolio with the introduction of advanced high-performance models designed to meet the needs of rigorous applications.

These enhanced filters are presented in both standard and medical configurations, catering to a rated current spectrum of 1 A to 30 A, featuring convenient quick-connect terminals.

The evolution towards more compact electronic device configurations, along with the imperative for high energy efficiency, has escalated the level of electromagnetic disturbances. The proximity of components within devices and the swift switching operations of potent semiconductors necessitate superior filtering solutions. The FMAB NEO HP (high performance) filter series is aligned with such exacting requirements. Utilising premium core materials, these filters deliver high attenuation levels within their compact stature.

Enhanced attenuation models

The upgraded models deliver substantial symmetrical attenuation (design N), bolstering the filtering capabilities in both low and mid-frequency spectrums through the integration of superior core materials. This enhancement facilitates superior filter performance, traditionally only achievable with larger filter sizes. The high-performance filters maintain compatibility with the standard FMAB NEO Design N filters, allowing for straightforward substitution when electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) assessments necessitate enhanced filtering.

Suitable applications

These new filter variants are adept for use in demanding settings such as laboratory and medical environments and are equally applicable in a variety of industrial, telecommunications, and energy sectors.

Certifications

The latest additions to the FMAB NEO filter family are accessible with rated currents ranging from 1 A to 30 A at a maximum of 250 VAC. These filters are designed to operate reliably within temperature ranges of -40 to 100°C and come with ENEC and cURus certifications.
