During both events, the company will discuss the biocompatibility and biostability of parylene conformal coatings and the moisture and dielectric barrier properties the coatings provide for medical devices and components. SCS will also discuss microRESIST antimicrobial parylene technology, a biocompatible coating option that has been shown to effectively eliminate harmful microorganisms on coated devices.

Specialty Coating Systems (SCS) has announced that it will be exhibiting at both MD&M East and MEDTEC France, which take place between the 9th and 11th June. SCS Vice President of Technology Rakesh Kumar will present Advanced Conformal Coatings for Emerging Medical Electronics at the Tech Talk Theater on the 11th June.
