During the event, SCS will discuss the biocompatibility and biostability of Parylene conformal coatings and the excellent moisture and dielectric barrier properties the coatings provide for medical devices and components, including stents, pacemakers, needles, catheters, electrosurgical tools, electrostimulation devices, cochlear and ocular implants and endoscopic seals, to name a few.
SCS also will discuss microRESIST Antimicrobial Parylene Technology, a biocompatible coating option that has been shown to effectively eliminate harmful microorganisms on coated devices.
