A highlight of Nordson EFD’s exhibit is the PICO xMOD piezoelectric valve mounted on a DR 2304 4-axis robot performing hub and needle bonding. Featuring ±360° rotational functionality, the 4-axis robot has been designed and configured for precise fluid placement and dispensing with EFD syringe barrels and valve systems. The highly flexible dispensing robots can work either as stand-alone systems or as key parts of an automated solution for all types of medical applications.
Additionally, Nordson EFD will showcase their extensive line of dispensing valves and dispensers used in the medical industry, reagent dispensing, aseptic valve applications, medical tube coating, and automated jetting.
