Powered by an 800MHz Vortex86MX+ SoC processor, which is over 2.4x the performance benchmark of the Vortex86DX, the VMXP-6453 is a new PC/104 processor module from ICOP featuring a heat sink which also doubles as an EMC shield.
The VMXP-6453 features a range of I/O ports including four USB 2.0 ports, two RS-232 ports, 10/100Mbps Ethernet port, 16-bit GPIO, plus high definition audio and an on-board PWM function, allowing for analogue control of devices.

The module includes an optional on-board USB flash, eliminating the need for external storage and 512MB / 1GB DDR2 soldered RAM for higher connection integrity.

Measuring only 90x96mm and requiring a single rail +5V supply, the VMXP-6453 is ideal for a multitude of compact, low power embedded applications.
