This miniature surface mount unit is designed as a complete biasing solution for both sub-assemblies and system solutions. It integrates seamlessly with standard MMIC surface mount amplifiers and is available in two convenient pinout designs.
Technical specifications include frequency range from 10MHz to 30GHz, RF power handling of 1W, low DC resistance of less than 1ohm, high DC current of 500mA, and 1dB typical (2.5dB maximum) conversion loss.
Contained in a 6.1 x 3.8mm space saving package, the BT-0030 miniature bias tee is constructed with high temperature solder for reflow solderability. Evaluation boards are available.
Other bias tees in the Marki range include the BT-0065 with a frequency range from 4kHz to 65GHz, including 2.4mm connectors. Insertion loss is 1.7dB typical, 3dB maximum.
