Teamwork for WLAN Bluetooth
A collaboration has been announced between Panasonic Industry Europe (PIDEU) and the software company OpenSynergy. The first result of this cooperation is the Bluetooth WLAN evaluation platform PAN 9026 ETU. The PAN 9026 module uses the Marvell 88W9877 Combo Controller with Bluetooth v5.0 and WLAN 802.11 n / a / g / b.
The evaluation platform comes with a NXP i.MX6 hardware incl. Linux, Blue SDK Stack from OpenSynergy and WLAN drivers. Various WLAN applications (access point, client), Bluetooth audio streaming and Bluetooth Low Energy are part of the evaluation platform. This platform is part of the Panasonic and OpenSynergy IoT strategy. The combination of WLAN and Bluetooth offers maximum flexibility for connectivity in various industrial applications.
The new module benefits customers by reducing design, testing, and calibration costs, thereby decreasing time to market compared to other solutions. The supplied software demonstrates essential features of WLAN, Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy.
The collaboration between PIDEU and OpenSynergy offers customers opportunities. For example, customers can order Blue SDK software or commission development services directly for projects in this field.
