ShowMeCables releases line of fiber optic transceivers
ShowMeCables, an Infinite Electronics brand and supplier of connectivity solutions, has announced its line of fiber optic transceivers.
ShowMeCables is an eCommerce brand that specialises in providing a large portfolio of in-stock IT, voice, video and data network cables and connectivity products.
The range of fiber optic transceivers is designed to meet the needs of telecom service providers, the data communications industry and IT departments.
These fiber optic transceivers are MSA-compliant and therefore compatible with most switch and router platforms. They represent a wide selection of form factors, distances supported and data rates. Form factors offered are GBIC, SFP, SFP+ and XFP. Distance options range from 220 metres to 120km and three transmitter wavelengths are available: 850nm, 1,310nm and 1,550nm. Operating data rates cover 100Mbps to 10Gbps.
Other options include single-mode or multimode optics and latching LC or nonlatching SC connectors. Most of these new transceivers were designed to withstand extreme temperatures found in many industrial applications.
