The onboard Intel System Controller Hub US15W XL features the Intel® GMA500 graphics engine which utilizes up to 256 MB frame buffer and supports DirectX 9.0E and OpenGL 2.0. Multiple displays are supported by a 24-bit LVDS interface and VGA port interface. Measuring 146 x 104 mm, the compact SBC84823 embedded platform comes with advanced connectivity and expansion interfaces including four powered COM ports (RS-232), six USB 2.0 ports, one Gigabit LAN, PS/2 keyboard and mouse, HD audio, a LPC interface, one SATA-300 port, one CompactFlash Type-II socket, and Digital I/O. Moreover, the SBC84823 delivers high-bandwidth expansion capability with one MiniPCI Express slot for custom system configurations. A watchdog timer is included to keep system running smoothly. The platform runs well with Windows® XP Embedded, Windows CE and Linux operating systems.
