To extend the reach of digital signage beyond its physical location, the OPS882-HM also supports NFC. The player features Intel Retail Client Manager, a software solution that provides easy-to-use digital signage content management system with analytics. Alongside two DDR3L SO-DIMM sockets with memory up to 16GB, the OPS882-HM offers a 2.5” SATA HDD, two PCI Express Mini Card slots, a wireless LAN card for 802.11 b/g/n and 3G/GPRS and a tuner/AV capture card.
The player is connected to OPS-compliant display via a standardised JAE TX-25 plug connector and includes DisplayPort, UART, audio, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 signals. Other features include a 10/100/1000Mbps a LAN port, RS-232 port, a HDMI interface, and three USB 3.0 ports. TPM 1.2 is also offered, increasing the security and reliability of the player while reducing it’s deployment costs. The player is suitable for various display applications, including those within retail stores, banks and restaurants.
