NEXCOM Computing Solutions have 2nd Generation of Intel Core i7/i5/i3 processors at the Core

Following the recent launch of the 2nd generation of Intel® Core™ i7/i5/i3 processors, NEXCOM has introduced a number of different product solutions which utilize these superb technologies. These Intel® Core™ processors are based on the 2nd generation Intel® Core™ micro architecture on 32nm process technology which offers enhanced media and graphics capabilities and performance while reducing overall platform power requirements. As an Intel Embedded Partner, Nexcom has taken the lead in developing a range of solutions to satisfy a variety of market requirements including Digital Signage, Digital Security Surveillance, Network Security, Industrial Automation and Control.
For the Digital Signage Market, Nexcom has launched the NDiS 166 digital signage player, a powerful solution which pairs the 2nd generation Intel® Core™ processor with the an Intel® QM67 graphics controller to give outstanding performance and superb graphics handling capability. Designed to offer Industrial-grade reliability, the NDiS 166 Digital Signage Player can easily support dual full HD video display.



Designed for applications within digital security surveillance NEXCOM’s NViS 6200 is a truly hybrid security surveillance system which is capable of incorporating both IP and analog cameras within one system and supporting up to 32 channels of analog and IP cameras with D1 resolution or 32 channels of megapixel IP cameras.



Nexcom has also expanded its range of Network Security Platforms with the launch of the OSA 5130 and NSA 5130 appliances. The NSA 5130 is positioned as a mainstream 1U 19” rack-mount network security platform which is designed for applications which require high performance network security and modest bandwidth data capabilities. Targeting enterprise level applications and telecommunication systems, the OSA 5130, 1U rack-mount network appliance, offers full configuration of best-of-breed module designs with 8 GbE LAN ports and 1+1 redundant power supply.



For users looking for a board level solutions, Nexcom have also launched two new embedded platforms which utilize the cutting edge technology of the on the 2nd generation of Intel® Core™ Processors known as ICES 267 and NEX 880. ICES 267 is a Computer On Module embedded platform which is targeted at graphics intensive multi-media applications. With a multitude of expansion options, developers can utilize the ICES 267 and customized carrier board to quickly develop unique solutions for an ever expanding market. NEX 880 is an industrial motherboard which offers developers powerful performance and superb flexibility. With the availability of PCIe X16, PCIe X4 and PCIe X1 interfaces, users are able to integrate additional expansion devices such as RAID card, graphic add-on card or HD video capture card for surveillance. NEX 880 featuring SATA 3.0 6Gb/s is able to conquer the diverse requirements of various applications, such as HD video surveillance and storage server for mass data.
