ETLG Inertial Aerosystems are introducing a new range of high performance triaxial analogue accelerometer modules. Manufactured by Silicon Designs Inc, Model 2445 is a drop in replacement for Model 2440 and can measure full scale acceleration in 3 orthogonal axies from +/-2g to +/-200g. By utilising advanced MEMS technology, operating temperature has been extended from -55 to 125 degrees C, ideal for hostile environments.
Incorporating MEMS, low noise accelerometers, the 2445 is suitable for zero to medium frequency instrumentation. The design includes an instrumentation amplifier on each axis providing high drive capability and low output impedance. On board voltage regulation and an internal voltage reference eliminate the need for precision power supplies. The single ended output scale factor is independent of the supply voltages from +/-12 VDC to +/-16VDC. The six different g models are relatively insensitive to temperature changes and gradients.

The 2445 range is assembled using the latest state of the art production technology to ensure enhanced reliability in extreme environments with high overrange, shock and vibration tolerance.

All models come with 1 metre, eight-wire cable and are capable of driving up 15 metres of additional cable. Ideal where space and weight are at a premium, applications include machine control and instrumentation, robotics, vibration monitoring and analysis, crash testing, model analysis and flight testing.
