Network cards provide cost-effective Gb connectivity
StarTech.com has announced the release of its two GbE network cards with Intel chipsets, the one port PCI Express GbE network card - Intel I210 NIC (ST1000SPEXI) and the four port GbE network card - PCI Express, Intel I350 NIC (ST4000SPEXI), that offer cost-effective Gb network access and maximise network performance.
The cards are suitabe for IT professionals looking to maximise network performance for either single or multi-port network solutions.
With the Intel chipsets, the cards ensure reliable network connections and provide access to many advanced features such as PXE network boot, audio-video bridging and Intel virtualisation technology for connectivity. The single-port card adds a high-performance Gb port to server or desktop while the four port network card adds multi-port network access through only one PCI Express slot allowing cost-effective access to multiple networks.
