It offers up to 4GB of DDR3 SO-DIMM RAM, one PCI Express Mini Card expansion, CFast™ socket, 2.5“ SATA HDD, four gigabit Ethernet ports, and dual USB 2.0 ports. This entry-level network appliance platform offers users a value segment solution and stable network performance with fanless operation and low power consumption at a reasonable cost.
“This extremely cost-effective NA-110 desktop network platform uses one of AMD’s lowest power G-Series APU, the T24L, with a TDP of just five Watts. This model is designed for network applications where low-power and fanless operation is desirable. At the same time, the NA-110 has adopted a cable-less design internally. With a small form factor design, the NA-110 offers four high-speed Gigabit network connections using Realtek 8111E LAN chip and each Ethernet interface has LED indicators for activity and transfer rate status. This multi-Gigabit network appliance is ideal for VPN, firewall, UTM, and network management applications,” said Philip Wei, Product Manager of Product & Marketing Division at Axiomtek.
Axiomtek’s NA-110 features one 2.5 SATA HDD and mainstream CFast™ socket for storing event log. One PCI Express Mini card is available for WiFi card installation. Other I/O features include one console port and two USB 2.0 ports for local system management, maintenance and diagnostics. For easy maintenance, the front panel has a front-facing LED indicator for power and HDD activity monitoring. The SOHO network appliance platform also supports mainstream Linux kernel 2.4 and 2.6 operating systems.
