The new modules have a wide operating voltage range of 2.8 VDC to 6 VDC and can achieve a wireless range in excess of one kilometre. A comprehensive software serial data interface including user selectable parameters such as operating frequency, power, data rates, plus transparent or packet protocol selection, eases implementation and allows designers to concentrate on the overall functionality of their products and potentially shorten time-to-market.
iGenesis embedded radio modules have an operating temperature range of -20 °C to +60 °C and meet worldwide radio approval standards. For high volume applications, MK Consultants also offers the modules in a surface mount format suitable for SMD assembly processes.
