MiniBridge connectors with Koshiri security are very robust
Expanding the company's 1.27mm pitch MiniBridge cable connector family, ERNI Electronics has announced variants which are very robust. Featuring a compact design, the connectors are suited for space saving connections between PCBs and decentralised function units, especially in the automotive market.
The automotive industry needs reliable connectors: during a skewed connection process of the male and female parts, the male connectors must not be damaged. Meeting the Koshiri security requirements of automotive connectors, ERNI Electronics connectors achieve reliable mating.
Available with 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 pins, the straight and angled male and female connectors with 90 and 180° cable outlets can be used to achieve several connection options. The connectors are capable of carrying 8A per contact and can use AWG 22 single wire stranded cables. The male connectors offer SMT termination, while the female versions feature IDC termination.
