Boasting a 2-channel bidirectional structure, the CFast 2 memory card from Apacer features a SATA 3.0 (6Gb/s) high-speed transmission interface. Following the release of CFast 2.0 specifications, the CFast 2 increases performance by adopting Toggle DDR 2.0 NAND Flash.

Doubling the speed of it's predecessor, the memory cards deliver a sequential speed of up to 310/240MB/s and 40-bit ECC. Enabling the detection of the health status of the memory card, the incorporated Wear Leveling Technology and S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology) significantly boosts the reliability of the cards. Additional features include DEVSLP (Device Sleep) power mode which enables the memory card to switch into a lower power state.

Jeff Lin, Embedded Application Business Unit Director of Apacer, commented, “In order to address the needs of reliable industrial and cost-effective enterprise applications, Apacer provides customers with two options:  highly-durable SLC chip solution and highly cost-effective MLC alternative. Both solutions are resilient to temperature variation, vibration and shock in harsh  environment, with standard dimension of 42.8mm x 36.4mm x 3.6mm, an adoption of (7+17) pin connector, and a capacity range of 4GB-32GB and 16GB-32GB, respectively."
