Captec’s launches the new light weight tablets which are designed to withstand rough treatment, shock and vibration, and are sealed against dust and moisture which makes them highly portable without compromising survivability. Field service and mobile workforce management demand a tablet computer that can both survive the challenges of being used outdoors and rough handling, whilst not encumbering its user with a bulky and heavy device that might reduce mobility and field efficiency.

The new Light Weight Rugged Tablets from Captec are the M700D (Windows) and RTC-700A (Android), Both have toughened 7” projected capacitive displays with sunlight readable options, and are available with WiFi and 3G connectivity, and a wide range of options, such as vehicle mounting.
