The industrial security router features dynamic packet filtering of all data processed via TCP/IP. Moreover, IP/port forwarding and network segmentation ramp up network security. IPsec and OpenVPN protocols are used for encryption and data integrity. The router’s built-in VPN technology enables a secure connection to remote network components and supports Weidmüller’s u-link remote access service application which makes setting up remote access systems easy for all those who aren’t IT specialists.
Easy system integration
1:1 NAT (network address translation) allows the straightforward integration of subnets sharing the same range of IP addresses. IP routing ensures a controlled data transfer between individual subnetworks whilst network segmentation enables efficient load balancing across the set-up.
Reliable connections
The Weidmüller Industrial Security Router comes with a static and dynamic routing option which makes the product both reliable and future-proof. Since the router features a built-in 4G/LTE modem, you do not need an on-site internet connection to log in to the Internet.
