AAEON’s new Industrial Motherboard for Cost-Effective and Multi-Display Applications

AAEON has revealed that its newest industrial motherboard encompassing a 3rd generation Intel Core processor and Intel B75 Express chipset. Built on the 22nm process technology, this motherboard supports faster and more efficient performance, along with the latest technological advancements.

The IMBM-B75A is a Micro-ATX form factor with an Intel Core i7-3770 or i5-3550S LGA 1155 processor and Intel B75 Express chipset. Moreover, up to 32GB of DDR3 1066/1333/1600 (1600 for 3rd generation processor) memory is feasible with four DIMMs. Its five SATA connectors allow storage requirements to be met with ease. Additionally, this board offers five COM ports, six USB2.0 ports, four USB3.0 ports, three Audio jacks, one keyboard/mouse and an eight-bit Digital I/O. Users can also increase board functionality with one PCI-Express[x16], one PCI-Express[x4], two PCI and an optional onboard TPM.

This industrial motherboard supports up to ten USB ports for system integrators in need of numerous and flexible interfaces, said Jill Chu, Product Manager of AAEON’s Industrial System Division. Furthermore, IMBM-B75A enables support for up to three independent or simultaneous Full HD displays via HDMI or VGA, making it ideal for Multimedia, Control Room, Building Automation and Industrial Factory applications. IMBM-B75A includes Intel Turbo Boost Technology, which enables smart computing and makes the system more energy efficient. Moreover, IMBM-B75A offers an optional TPM, which can be used to authenticate hardware devices as overall protection for the system, added Jill.

Built-in visuals such as Intel HD Graphics, DX11 and OCL 11 allow system developers to utilize them for HD video sharing, recording and uploading, as well as 3D contents. As IMBM-B75A offers cross-compatibilities with other generations of the Intel Core processor family, this motherboard minimizes design effort and adds additional flexibility.
