Industrial communications today require optimised solutions and lower maintenance complexity to meet their serviceability. To meet this challenge, Lanner further strengthens its industrial-grade box PC product line-up by adding LEC-3031 series. The recently added fanless box PC series features dual-core Intel Celeron N2807 (1.58GHz), DDR3L 1333MHz SO-DIMM memory up to 4GB, mSATA socket, VGA display, wide operating temperature, DIN Rail/Wallmount options and a variety of Serial COM and LAN configuration options (A4/A6/A8/I4/I10) for various industrial application needs.

LEC-3031 series is built with Intel Celeron N2807 CPU, a multi-core SoC architecture codenamed 'Bay Trail' for optimised performance and power consumption in compact computing systems. With Silvermont design and the tri-gate 22nm processing technology, the CPU offers suitably balanced energy consumption and computing performance for industrial communications in critical infrastructures. Along with support of DDR3L memory and Intel HD Graphics engine, LEC-3031 series is definitely a reliable and robust hardware solution for industrial applications.

Different from traditional DB-9 design, LEC-3031 series comes with Phoenix Contact terminal blocks to offer high density and variety of COM port setting based on the ordered models.LEC-3031-A series (A4/A6/A8) deliver 4 to 8 Serial ports with RS-232/422/485 signals while the i-series (I4/I10) is designed with 4 isolated RS-485 ports or 8 isolated RS-485 plus 2 isolated RS-232/485. With 2KV digital isolation and 15KV ESD protection, the Serial ports are well-protected in harsh environments.

Aside from the multiple serial ports, LEC-3031 also features flexible I/O connectivities, including 2 or 4 GbE LAN ports, 1 or 3 USB 2.0 Type-A ports, 1x USB 3.0 port, 1x mSATA mini slot and a VGA display output. Regarding environmental ruggedness, LEC-3031 can withstand -20 ºC to 55 ºC or -40 ºC to 70 ºC operating temperatures. For mounting installation, the system can be mounted by DIN Rail or wall-mounting.
