The device is offered with one DDR3L SO-DIMM system memory maximum up to 8GB, one full-size internal PCIe Mini Card slot and two SMA types of antenna openings to connect wireless through 3G or LTE. Interfaces include six RS-232 ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, four USB 2.0 ports, one internal USB 3.0, VGA, HDMI and audio (mic-in/line-out). For sufficient storage, one 2.5″ SATA HDD drive bay and mSATA slot are embedded in the PC. Embedded OS support is fully deployed under WES7, WE8S and Linux.

The eBOX638-840-FL, which is suitable for passenger information systems, in-vehicle PCs, entry-level gaming and video surveillance, will be available in March 2015.
