Energy-saving Mini-ITX Board with Intel 2nd Generation Core Processor

AAEON has today revealed the introduction of a new Mini-ITX board based on the 3rd generation Intel Core processor: EMB-H61A. The EMB-H61A uses a desktop CPU, enabling high performance at 35W TDP. The EMB-H61A is a new powerful Mini-ITX form factor with an onboard Intel Core processor i7/i5 and the Intel H61 chipset.
Support for up to 16GB of DDR3 memory is available through the SODIMM slots. In addition, EMB-H61A offers six COM ports (one RS-232/422/485 connector and five RS-232 pin headers), eight USB2.0 ports and an eight-bit Digital I/O. With the optional CompactFlash slot and standard SATA connectors, storage requirements are easily met. For network connectivity, EMB-H61A features two onboard Gigabit Ethernet to provide faster network communication. As a Mini-ITX form factor board, users can expand the functionality with add-on modules or utilize the PCI-Express Mini Card to easily achieve greater functionality from this small yet powerful board.
