DFI has launched a new mini-ITX form factor motherboard offering lower power consumption and higher performance for compact embedded systems. This new model utilizes the Intel GM45 Graphics Memory Controller Hub and Intel ICH9M Southbridge, supporting second-generation Intel Core 2 Duo processors and the Intel Celeron 575 processor with up to 1,066 MHz FSB and Intel 45nm transistor technology.
In addition, this Mini-ITX motherboard supports up to 8GB of DDR3 800/1066MHz dual-channel system memory, two Realtek RTL8111C-GR PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet controllers, UltraDMA/100 con­troller accepting two IDE devices, VGA port, DVI port, and 24 bit dual-channel LVDS display interface. The CA100-D also provides four Serial ATA ports with speed up to 3Gb/s, eight USB 2.0/1.1 ports, two Serial COM ports, And High-Definition audio support with S/PDIF I/O.

Additional features include an Intel® GMA 4500 graphics accelerator with DVI, VGA, and LVDS interfaces with dual-independent display capability, The integrated Intel® GMA4500 graphics engine supports DirectX10 and OpenGL 2.1 for 2D, 3D and video applications, providing excellent performance and flexibility for developers of industrial or embedded relative applications.
