AXIOMTEK launches a new slim-type 1U rackmount high performance system, the IPC121, which is powered by the Intel Core2 Quad processor plus Intel Q45+ICH10DO express chipset. Compatible with ATX form factor motherboards, the IPC121 comes with an off-the-shelf LGA775 socket Intel Core2 Quad ATX motherboard and has very scalable memory architecture of four DDR3 800/1066 MHz DIMM sockets up to 16GB memory. Additionally, the IPC121 barebone system supports two front-accessible hot-swap 3.5” SATA HDDs, and delivers great expandability with one PCIe x16 slot or one PCI slot. Its applications include mail sever, firewall, ISP, telecommunications, and more.
The IPC121, which is only 44mm deep, can be easily mounted and fit into different space limited environments. For efficient system monitoring, this industrial chassis provides the LED indicators for power status and HDD activity. Furthermore, the IPC121 is equipped with a 250W ATX power supply, and the efficient cooling system keeps this chassis away from over heated. Its rich I/O features include one COM port, two gigabit LANs, 4 USB 2.0 ports, VGA, audio, and PS/2 keyboard and mouse port.
