Computer offers improved stereoscopic 3D capabilities

Designed for intelligent systems with low power consumption and high performance requirements, the ECM-BYT2 SBC has been released by Avalue Technology. Powered by both the Intel Atom processor E3800 family and the Intel Celeron processor family, the 3.5" computer is based on the 22nm Silvermont microarchitecture. 

The SBC supports one 204-pin DDR3L SODIMM socket and up to 8GB DDR3L 1066/1333 SDRAM capacity. I/O interfaces include one SATA II, one USB 3.0, seven USB 2.0, two COM, 8-bit GPIO and two mini-PCIe. The mini-PCIes include one full-size mini PCI Express mini card with mSATA supported, and one half-size mini PCI Express mini card. Both dual-channel 18/24-bit LVDS and dual display configurations are supported by the ECM-BYT2.

The computer features an audio jack for Realtek ALC892, which supports 5.1-CH audio. Two Realtek RTL8111E Gigabit Ethernet controllers are also provided. To meet intelligent system requirements, the SBC provides improved stereoscopic 3D capabilities, high-resolution graphics, data integrity, reliability and system uptime. Suitable applications include kiosk, entry POS and ATMs, automotive, retail, medical, security, surveillance and in-vehicle infotainment.
