Targeted at multimedia and medical applications, this enables the CD9A3 series to support high-end enhanced media and graphics capabilities. Offering improved performance, an Intel GMA Graphics accelerator is integrated into the CD9A3 Series to provide LVDS and DDI display outputs.
The CD9A3 Series COM Express Mini form factor features 2GB DDR3 onboard, offering maximum performance with low voltage memory for faster communication between components. The new COM Express Mini form factor provides rich I/O functionality, including: LVDS and DDI display outputs, High Definition Audio interface, 1 Intel LAN interface, 8-bit Digital I/O interface for device controls, 8 USB ports, and 3 PCIe x1 interfaces.
For applications that require fast storage speed, the CD9A3 Series COM Express Mini module has an integrated Advanced Host Controller Interface controller to support 2 SATA interfaces with data transfer rate up to 3Gb/s. The 8 USB ports allow your system to process more data load and provide faster loading of frequently used application, while the 3 PCIe x1 interface offers additional capabilities for customers’ multiple demands and enables easier expansion of the system.
