The german company Analytica has launched a new CAN Ethernet gateway with four galvanically decoupled CAN interfaces (2.0A/2.0B). The device operates on an ARM9 processor based on Linux (Kernel 2.6) like the already existing models AnaGate uno and AnaGate duo with one or two CAN interfaces.
The four CAN interfaces can be used independently by a PC or a PLC via TCP/IP (Ethernet) protocol. By usage of standard WLAN/WiFi components also a wireless LAN connection is possible to the CAN networks.

The CAN interfaces can also be coupled in bridge mode directly via the integrated CAN bridge or via LAN/WLAN with a further AnaGate CAN. In this way arbitrary CAN segments with different baudrates can be interconnected. The configuration is made comfortably via a standard browser by a Web interface.

The device is supported by the CANopen framework CAN-Festival. It can be accessed via a provided application library ((Linus, Windows) from programming environments and allows the creation of individual PC solutions. As Embedded PC with Linux platform the AnaGate CAN quattro permits also the flexible extensions by downloading and running of application programs. These functional extensions can be created by the customer or by ANALYTICA as supplier.

An industrial version of the devices with extended temperature range of -20 bis 85°C is available, too.
