Part of Infineon’s AIROC Bluetooth Low Energy portfolio, these fully certified, programmable RF modules deliver exceptional long-range Bluetooth Low Energy wireless connectivity while minimising overall device footprint, external components and cost.
The Infineon modules centre on the AIROC CYW20835 system-on-chip (SoC), which features a highly integrated 96 MHz Arm Cortex-M4 processor with a floating-point unit, multiple serial interfaces, PWMs, and more.
Along with the SoC, each module also includes 512 KBytes of on-module serial flash memory, up to 24 general-purpose inputs/outputs (GPIOs) and a 24 MHz crystal oscillator. These Bluetooth 5.0 qualified modules are certified to FCC, ISED, MIC, and CE regulations and deliver a maximum transmit power of +12 dBm and a receive sensitivity of -94.5 dBm for Bluetooth Low Energy.
The AIROC CYW20835 modules are suitable for a wide spectrum of applications, including home automation, sensors (medical, security, and industrial), lighting and Internet of Things (IoT) designs.
