AXIOMTEK has introduced an energy saving yet high performance NA-812B 1U height 19” rackmount network appliance platform for small to medium businesses. The NA-812B is configured with an ultra low power 45nm Intel Core2 Duo processor up to 2.26 GHz with the Mobile Intel GM45 Express chipset, delivering exceptional performance with the minimum power consumption. Two DDR3 SODIMM slots support 800/1066 memory up to 4GB capacity.
Available with six Gigabit Ethernet ports thru PCIe interface, the platform deliveries high throughput. To ensure an uninterrupted network connection, the NA-812B supports a bypass function which is activated automatically when system is powered down or off. This great compact network appliance is ideal for small to medium businesses looking for a cost-effective hardware platform for firewall, virtual private network (VPN), unified threat management (UTM), or other embedded box with multiple-LAN solutions.

For storing event log data, the NA-812B has space for two 2.5 SATA2 HDD or one 3.5” SATA2 HDD. This network communication appliance with built-in Intel® Active Management Technology 4.0 (iAMT 4.0) which allows IT to better discover, heal, and protect their networked computing assets. The ultra low power network security platform also features function of BIOS redirection to console port. With small form factor design, the NA-812B offers six high-speed Gigabit network connections using Intel® 82574/82567DM LAN chip. Other I/O features include one console ports, two USB 2.0 ports, power connector, and system reset switch. For efficient system monitoring, the NA-812B provides the LED indicators for power status, HDD activity, and network activities. Moreover, it supports mainstream Linux kernel 2.6 and 2.4 operating systems to better support customers who have developed applications on the above listed versions.
