Apacer adopts standard a 50-pin connector for the CFC4 memory card and SLC chip featuring industry-level stability. Available in storage capacities ranging from 256MB to 16GB for customers to choose, the CFC4 supports different transfer standards such as PIO, Multi-Word DMA, and Ultra DMA. In addition, the CFC4 transfer mode supports UDMA-6 specification and delivers up to 50MB per second of sequential read speed according to an actual test report. Data transfer becomes more efficient.
To enhance data accuracy, the CFC4 substantially bolsters product reliability by supporting 15 bit ECC function that can effectively decrease data errors caused by frequent read operations while mitigating the risk of data loss because of a sudden blackout during data writing. The Wear-leveling technology enables the storage blocks of NAND Flash to be used equally to prolong life expectancy by avoiding malfunction of a specific storage block caused by over accessing. Also, with the built-in S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology), users can monitor the health status of the CF card and back up data in advance.
