Amplifier Technology to show a new range of compact, high power broadband pallet amplifiers at the DSEi exhibition in London – stand N8 374

RF design specialist Amplifier Technology Ltd has developed a new range of compact broadband pallet amplifiers which are to be shown for the first time at DSEi in September 2011.

The new pallet amplifiers use GaN technology, and there are three models covering different frequency bands.

The 9001 model is a power pallet amplifier that delivers a minimum saturated output power (P_Sat) of 100 watts over the frequency range 20-500MHz.

The 9004 amplifier is similar, also delivering 100 watts, operating in the 0.8GHz -1.0GHz frequency bands. The third model, the 9005, gives 100watts saturated output power and operates at frequencies from 1.7GHz- 2.2GHz.

All three amplifiers feature a shut-down pin to allow the RF output to be disabled.

These pallet amplifiers are made to a compact design for OEM use, and measure just 160mm x 100mm.

Amplifier Technology Ltd designs RF power amplifiers at its manufacturing site near Bristol, using the latest software design tools to achieve greater performance and efficiency for GaN amplifiers.

The company provides RF design services as well as manufacturing, with clean room and LEAN manufacturing, and can manufacture components to customer designs as well as providing testing facilities.
