Coming just months after the introduction of ARBOR’s IOT-500 5-inch Panel PC, the larger IoT-800 provides customers additional versatility and flexibility to meet the requirements of multiple industrial and in-vehicle applications. As a compact, cost-efficient 8-inch RISC-based device with low power draw, the new IoT-800 has broad application potential in numerous industries.

Powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A9 CPU, the Android-based IoT-800 combines performance, energy efficiency, ease-of-use, and simple interfacing with various industrial sensors/devices. Rich wired and wireless connectivity allow the IoT-800 to easily monitor, control and manage information, making it ideal for a variety of applications, including vehicle management, healthcare, retails, hospitality and factory and home automation.

The IoT-800 comes with 1GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB of eMMC Flash storage, extendable by up to 32GB via Micro SD Card. The panel’s extensive wired I/O includes USB 2.0, RS232/422/485 serial, RJ45 LAN, CAN 2.0B/OBD-ll and 4 x 3.3V GPIO. For wireless communication there is 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS and NFC. 3G/4G and LTE WWAN can be added as optional mini PCIe modules.

The robust IoT-800 is engineered for stability and reliability. Its IP65-rated flat front bezel p

rovides resistance to dust and protected against moisture. A very wide -10°C to 70°C operating temperature range allows deployment almost anywhere. The panel auto-detects 12~24V DC input power, and can easily be mounted via 75mm VESA screw pattern.
