Toshiba Electronics Europe has launched a range of entry-level USB 3.0 flash drives which meet consumer needs for storing music and video content and transferring data between digital products.

The TransMemory drives are two times faster than the preceding USB 2.0 drives, measure just 55mm by 18mm and have a capacity of either 8, 16, 32 or 64GB.

The drives are fully backward compatible with Hi Speed USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 standards and have been optimised for use with MAC OS X 10.6.6 and higher, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1.
