The new series 583 and 5830 offer high security and stability. Equipped with fully polarized housings they suit for blind mating. Positive latchings prevent accidental disconnects, additional security on the PCB is realized by locking tangs on the terminal.
Available as wire-to-board and wire-to-wire version, they offer many specifications: single row and double row, straight and right angled, 2 to 24 contacts, SMT and solder type version.
The contact material consists of phosphor bronze, the contact surface is tin plated over a nickel barrier. The insulator consists of thermoplastic, rated UL94 V-0. The solderability is guaranteed according to IEC 60512-12A, the operating temperature ranges from –25 to +85°C.
