Used in conjunction with connector pins and shorting links, these cage jacks, also known as jacks, jack sockets or PCB sockets, are available in straight and right angled, closed and open ended and insulated versions with solder mount, press-fit, swage, crimp and eyelet format.
With a current carrying capacity of up to 32 amps and with an acceptance diameter of 0.41mm to 2.54mm, the Cambion cage jacks have copper or brass bodies and a beryllium copper spring. Plating options are gold on tin or tin on gold.
Right-angled versions can be supplied with colour code snap on insulator and swaging tools and custom designed cage jacks are available on request.
