Using HUBER+SUHNER’s MBX RF Board to Board Connectors Described in Series of Tutorials

HUBER+SUHNER has published the first in a series of short tutorials describing the key features of its industry leading MBX miniature board-to-board and board- to-module RF connectors. The three tutorials, published on HUBER+SUHNER’s YouTube channel, illustrate how the MBX connector system works, the self-aligning features behind these blind mate connectors and understanding the difference between the connecting range and the radial working range.

The tutorials can be viewed here.

HUBER+SUHNER MBX connectors feature a mechanical design that allows the connector system to cope with mechanical misalignment in both radial and axial directions and still exhibit an excellent electrical performance. The MBX connector system features best in class axial misalignment of ±1.2 mm and is recognized as the ideal solution for multiple connections in board-to-board / board-to-module and complex stack-ups in radio module applications.

MBX connectors can handle power levels up to 260W, work from DC to 6GHz and need a minimum board-to-board distance of just 13mm.
