Besides the eight standard surface-mount RJ45 connections, the 100236FA012S113ZX version features four additional through-hole contacts for powering and controlling the two integral status LEDs (green and yellow). Extensive measures for shielding the housing, combined with the use of a large additional soldering bracket, ensure ideal protection against electromagnetic interference. In addition, both the through-hole contacts and the soldering clip increase the jack’s resistance to mechanical strain on the circuit board. The contact resistance is 40 mΩ (initial), and the insulation resistance is 500 MΩ and higher. The dimensions of this 8-pin RJ45 are 16.5mm x 14.0 mm x 12.7 mm (L x W x H). The jacks can be supplied on a reel with or without pick & place caps.
