UL approval upon request for any connector or cable

For companies that want to export to the US or Canada, there is no way around gaining certification of their electronic products to the standards of Underwriters Laboratories (UL). UL approval indicates to customers and users that the product complies with essential safety guidelines for the American market. However, this approval is not just required at the system level, but rather for nearly every individual component. As a result, this affects each individual connector and each type of cable used within a system. For this reason, SUYIN offers its customers a special service for gaining UL certification from Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (if this has not already been done) for any connector or cable selected from SUYIN’s extensive range of offerings.

Regardless of the order volume or the desired approval category, SUYIN takes care of the complete process. Here, it can be a special challenge to gain certification for a product for an atypical category, such as earning UL approval of a telecommunications plug for industrial applications. Nevertheless, SUYIN can help in such cases as well. The latest examples here are provided by two RJ45 connectors that are normally used in the telecommunications realm: the 020181MHBV4M508ZA (with transformer, an LED and 2x USB) and the 101112FHBM4M504ZA (with an LED and a transformer). Upon request from a customer, both products earned UL certification in the ECBT2 product category for industrial applications.

A large number of SUYIN products are already listed in the different categories like i.e. DUXR, ECBT, NWGQ etc.. This includes an entire series of male and female multipoint connectors in different pitches, modular jacks with or without integrated transformers, DC jacks, D-Subminiature connectors as well as RCA and USB receptacles.
