Sub-floor panel holder from Tyco Electronics improves cabling access

The AMP NETCONNECT business unit of Tyco has introduced a sub-floor panel holder in 1U, 2U and 4U height versions to enable 19-inch copper and fibre patch panels to be mounted on pedestals under raised access floors in data centres, equipment rooms and telecoms rooms.

Used in this way, the new holder provides an ideal consolidation point or zone patching connection point for network cabling infrastructures, especially when cabinet space is limited.

The unit uses galvanised steel construction, allowing automatic bonding, and has a clamping range from 14 mm to 30 mm, square or round. It meets the requirements of the ISO/IEC 11801, EN 50173 and TIA/EIA-568-B specifications.
