Bulgin has announced RIA's latest screw terminal PCB terminal blocks. Called SpringCon they are available in both single part, with PCB terminals, and two-part PCB connector versions.
The spring clamp termination is said to provide a secure and rapid method of conductor termination. The spring clamp, which is operated by a simple lever system, is made of stainless steel and provides a gas tight joint that self adjusts for different wire gauges. Other spring clamp systems need a screwdriver to actuate the clamp mechanism, SpringCon has no such requirement. Termination is very quick, simple and robust offering maximum production time savings.

With ratings from 8A to 25A the single part terminal blocks are available in the following pitches: 2.5mm, 2.54mm, 3.81mm, 5mm and 7.7mm. The SpringCon two part connectors are rated up to 10A on 2.5mm, 3.81mm and 5mm pitches. Both styles are available in 2 through to 12 poles.
