Its industry standard LC interfaces (IEC 61754-20) features colour coded O-rings and washers for ease of identification. Mounting body options include Flex, Flex In-Line, and Rear Panel styles.
With extremely low insertion loss (average: < 0.1 dB, max: 0.2 dB), the 4000 Series Fibre Simplex connector offers reliable performance regardless of the application environment.
With its IP68-rated sealing caps, the connector provides protection against dirt and water ingress (fully submersed up to two weeks at 10m), the connector is ideal for typical outdoor installations such as underground, on antennae and mounted on utility poles.
The Polyamide UL94-V0 flame retardant moulding is IEC 61300-2 tested to operate between -25°C and 70°C. For marine applications, the 4000 Series Fibre also offers connectivity with salt spray resistance (tested to EN60068-2-52 Test Kb Salt Mist [Cyclic] Marine Severity Level 1).
