To eliminate the temperature stress to which soldered elements are usually subjected, the PowerLamella power elements are designed to be pressed directly into the PCB. For assembly, only a toggle press is required, therefore the elements provide a cost-effective solution. While the press-fit zone has a contact resistance of 100-200 μΩ, the plug elements have a contact resistance of 0.2mΩ with Ø3.6mm, 0.09mΩ with Ø 6.0mm and 0.05mΩ with Ø 10.0mm.
