Comments Gary Evans, European Sales Manager: “These connectors prevent mis-mating and save space and weight in critical applications such as military avionics and satellite systems, ensuring signal integrity even in conditions where high shock and vibration are present. In addition, they are able to withstand temperatures as low as -55degC and as high as +125degC (200degC with high temperature epoxy). Our R&D team works tirelessly to produce innovative connector products which meet or exceed the expectations of customers in the high-rel market, and these are our smallest connectors to date.”
Available in 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 position sizes, these new polarized devices are on a 0.635mm (0.025”) pitch spacing and feature gold-plated contacts. Rated at 1A per contact, with a maximum contact resistance of 25mΩ (71mV) @ 1A, the connectors feature an insulation resistance of 5000MΩ minimum at 100Vdc. Insulator material is thermoplastic polyester, type GLCP-30F to MIL-M-24519. Sockets are made of copper alloy and pins are beryllium copper. Termination options include pre-wiring, straight tail, horizontal surface mount and vertical surface mount.
