Thermal transfer high accuracy printer from Tyco Electronics

Tyco Electronics has recently introduced a new robust, 24 hour duty cycle mid-range thermal transfer printer, designed for printing Tyco Electronics’ range of identification marker sleeves, cable markers and thermal transfer labels (including thermal transfer Multimark). The new light weight and high print accuracy TE3124 printer is replacing Tyco Electronics’ T300, T400, TTD and TTP series printers. It is priced lower than the existing T312M printer and is now the only printer qualified to print the entire thermal transfer range of Tyco Electronics’ identification products.

Benefiting from its low weight and a smaller foot print than the existing printer range, the TE3124 printer provides superior levels of print quality and bar code clarity and comes with a 600 dpi print head as standard. Its superior print position accuracy makes the device ideal for small labels and print 2.4 sized marker sleeves. Further features include automatic calibration with simple ribbon and media loading procedure and compatibility with WinTotal version 4.6.05 or later and PEP-5 (Express, Pro, Suite) software packages.

Technical details of the TE-3124 printer include an operating temperature range of +10 up to +35 degrees Celsius, a print speed of max 100mm/s (recommended 30mm/s) and a maximum print width of 105.6mm. The device supports all current interface standards.
