Molex Receives SPDEI’s Distribution Award in the Category “Connectors and Cables”
In recognition for its support to the distribution network, Molex France has been presented with a Distribution Award by SPDEI, the National Trade Association of Industrial Electronics Distribution, in the product category ‘Connectors and Cables’. The Award acknowledges the ongoing high level of support, both technically and commercially, that Molex France provides to its distribution partners.
Despite the recent economic slowdown, Molex has continued to invest in new product developments and has entered new markets, including lighting and solar energy. During this time, Molex has strengthened the working relationships within the distribution channel and is committed to ensuring that high levels of service and support are maintained.
Now in its fifteenth year and with a membership of 29 Franchised Distributors, SPDEI (Syndicat Professionnel de la Distribution en Electronique Industrielle – www.spdei.fr) presents a Distribution Award to the best manufacturers for eight product categories – Optoelectronics, Displays and LEDs; Semiconductors; Analogue, RF and Microwave; Digital Electronics (including CPUs, FPGAs and ASSPs); Passives; Connectors and Cables; Electromechanical and Energy (including power supplies, batteries, PV panels, etc.). Component manufacturers are rated from 0 to 5 on several criteria: partnership with the distributor, innovation, price, quality and durability of products; profitability for the retailer; resources to support the distributor, protection and traceability of design.
